Thank you for choosing Fast Lane Taxes for your tax needs! With over 13 years of experience in tax preparation, I started this firm with a passion for helping women in my community gain financial confidence and independence.
Growing up with a single mother, I saw firsthand the challenges of raising a family alone. That experience inspired me to not only provide quality tax services but also to educate women on financial literacy and empower them to take control of their financial future.
At Fast Lane Taxes, my goal is to help families break generational cycles of financial hardship through knowledge, resources, and expert tax solutions.
Dorteisha Byrd – Tax Preparer
This is my second year working in the tax industry, and I’m currently pursuing a degree in Accounting at Auburn University at Montgomery. My passion is helping families understand their taxes and making the process simple and stress-free.
I especially enjoy working with first-time filers—guiding them through the filing process and educating them on how to properly set up their W-9 to avoid penalties later. My goal is to provide clarity, confidence, and expert support every step of the way.
